Overview

In the heart of Cape May County between Atlantic City and Cape May lies the beautiful Shore Gate Golf Club, a par 72 premiere championship golf course.  Ron Fream’s visually intimidating design was cared from over 245 pristine forest acres in Cape May County.  The course features 88 bunkers, seven lakes, vertical dunes and rolling terrain that put a premium on accuracy.  Shore Gate is a unique combination of parkland and Scottish links-style design that also presents a dramatic sculptured and undulating feeling.   Each hole features 5 sets of tee markers, total yardage ranging from 5,284 to 7,227.  The tees, fairways and greens are bent grass and the rough is blue grass and fescue.  Not far from the beaches and casinos, Shore Gate is ideal for Jersey Shore vacationers as well as area residents who desire the ultimate in daily fee golf.  With laurel, oak, holly and towering pines framing each hole, Shore Gate’s scenic beauty and exquisite design quickly made it among the next favorite golf courses in South Jersey.  All 18 holes present different challenges, and no two holes are duplicated.  The course features a driving range with 4 levels of grass tees and mats, practice putting green, practice bunkers.
